HB 2244 is scheduled for action in the Pennsylvania House Judiciary Committee.
Politicians are calling it “safe storage.”
But let’s call it what it really is:
mandatory gun lockups.
This bill would make it harder for law-abiding Pennsylvanians to access a firearm when seconds matter most.
If a criminal breaks into a home in the middle of the night, a mother should not be forced to fumble with a safe, a lock, a key, or a code while her children are in danger.
That is not safety. That is a deadly mandate from Harrisburg.
