We’re just days away from the end of the third quarter, and Pennsylvania Firearms Association cannot go into October short on political gun powder.
The politicians are quiet on new gun bills this week, and quiet weeks are exactly when anti-gun politicians hope you stay quiet – they’ll soft-pedal the headlines and leave your gun rights in a drawer, and then ask for your vote. Federally, S.3544, the Federal Firearm Licensing Act, is still sitting in the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the DOJ posture on under-21 handgun dealer enforcement is still unfinished business that doesn’t override state rules, so those fights stay live even when the politicians soften the headlines.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Mail and on-demand voting are already underway in counties that have ballots ready. That means the ads, the texts, the district pressure, and the alerts that make politicians feel it in their districts have to be funded now, not after midnight Wednesday after the deadline comes and goes.
What happens if we fall short? We’ll have to pull our ads. We’ll have to make cuts in our election program. And if we do that, I’m afraid we’d let weak Republicans and the Radical Left Gun-Grabbers guess that Pennsylvania gun owners checked out for the summer.
I refuse to let that be the message. Do you?
