I have bad news, folks.
The two gun-control bills that multiple RINO’s in the House helped the Democrats pass (Red Flag Gun Confiscation and Universal Gun Registration) were assigned to senate committee.
And they were not assigned to a committee with a pro-gun chairman, like the State Government Committee chaired by Senator Cris Dush.
Instead, both gun-control bills were sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee which is chaired by Senator Lisa Baker (R-Luzerne) – the same Lisa Baker who held two days of gun-control hearings in 2019!
Worse, when asked about it by PennLive.com, Baker didn’t do her duty and declare the bills dead-on-arrival in her committee:
“These measures will be evaluated and discussed within the committee in the same manner as other bills.”
“What I am looking for in potentially considering any gun-related bills is enforceability and ensuring due process in accordance with constitutional protections,” Baker continued.
This is RED ALERT!
Some of the RINO, backstabbing Representatives in the House, like Valerie Gaydos, were saying some of the exact same things before they voted for these gun-control bills.
We do not have any time to waste, and that’s why I’m urging you to do two things right away.
All you need to do is click the button above, fill in a few fields, click submit, and you’re done – we’ve already written the email for you.
Even though Senate Republicans hold the majority, Baker’s words make it clear that she’s already waffling about where she’s supposed to stand on these bills.
And don’t forget, the very fact that these bills are IN Baker’s committee instead of Senator Dush’s committee is proof that Senate Republican leadership is waffling already, too.
The whole purpose of Red Flag Gun Confiscation laws are to destroy due process for gun owners by giving liberal judges the power to strip away someone’s right of self-defense without ever being charged, tried or convicted of a crime.
And “Universal Background Checks” is better termed “Universal Gun Registration” because it outlaws the private sale of firearms between two individuals.
And Universal Background Checks is 100% unenforceable without a statewide gun database – THAT is the real goal behind it.
So make sure your Senator knows you expect him to vote NO on both of these bills!
Lastly, please make a generous contribution to Pennsylvania Firearms Association (PFA) right away.
PFA is already launching mobilization campaigns in the districts of each Senator sitting on the Senate Judiciary Committee, but we need your financial support to get as many eyes on this as possible.
If you are able to contribute a major amount of $500 or even $1,000, we can use it now.
Not everyone can do that, and I understand it.
If $100, $50, $25 or even $10 fit your budget better, we will put it to deliberate use.
We have already started meetings with members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, but they need to hear from gun owners in every corner of the state!
PFA will be at the capitol in Harrisburg tomorrow, and I’ll be forwarding more information to you after that.
For Freedom,
Chris Dorr, Director
