Gun owners have some tough choices to make.

In Missouri, pro-gun lawmakers passed the Second Amendment Preservation Act through the legislature is about to be signed into law by Governor Parsons!

In Iowa, Governor Kim Reynolds signed Iowa Gun Owners’ vaunted Constitutional Carry bill into law, joining Iowa with over twenty states that have Constitutional Carry!

I could go on and on. The only upside to Joe Biden’s war against gun owners in Washington is that legislators in ‘red states’ are suddenly getting back to work, boldly fighting for gun owners in their state legislatures!

Here in Pennsylvania, however, we’ve seen the bare minimum. And that’s exactly why I am writing you today, because this is simply unacceptable.

It’s HIGH TIME that the Pennsylvania General Assembly stop talking about how pro-gun they are, and start showing us by immediately passing Constitutional Carry once and for all!

Please read this important update, and then immediately send a pre-written email that we have prepared for you, calling on your Pennsylvania politicians to advance Constitutional Carry!

More on that below.

Help Pass Constitutional Carry Now!

Constitutional Carry is a very simple concept.

It simply states that if you are legally allowed to own a firearm, you could legally carry that firearm for self-defense without having to pay a fee for that right –- and without having to be tracked, traced, and registered like a sex offender.

Of course, the media and anti-gun politicians in Harrisburg will lie about the impact of this bill and try to kill it before it even gets off the ground.

No, Constitutional Carry does not mean that criminals can own firearms. Stopping violent criminals from harming our loved ones is why we carry firearms in the first place.

And no, passing Constitutional Carry does not mean that the current concealed handgun license system would be eliminated – it would simply become optional.

Nor would passage of Constitutional Carry lead to a spike in violent crime.

On the contrary, every single state that passed this legislation over the last ten years saw their murder rates decline immediately!

The fear mongering tactics employed by the Radical Left are FAKE NEWS, and nothing new to gun owners here in Pennsylvania.

In fact, you and I have become quite used to these antics over the last few years, as the media and anti-gun politicians predicted the sky would fall ever since shall-issue concealed carry was passed back in the late ’80s!

They were wrong then, and they are wrong now.

The reality is that after Iowa enacted it recently, over TWENTY STATES now enjoy Constitutional Carry law — over a third of the country — and there is absolutely no reason why Pennsylvania shouldn’t be on that list!

Thanks to the work of PFA members, we flooded the airwaves with social media and digital ads exposing gun-grabbers, and gun owners totally defeated the gun-control takeover attempt in Harrisburg.

But that wasn’t all.

The members of the Pennsylvania Firearms Association gave us the resources to HAMMER away at Communist Democrat former-candidates like George Scott and all “Gun-Sense” candidates endorsed by Bloomberg’s Moms Demand Action organization.

The bottom line is that gun owners stood up and rejected Michael Bloomberg’s agenda for Pennsylvania in a major way — now it’s time that the legislature stand up for us and pass Constitutional Carry legislation!

The good news is that State Representative Aaron Bernstine and State Senator Cris Dush have filed this legislation for us (HB659 & SB565) and are gearing up to push this bill through into law.

The bad news is that the Republican Legislative “Leadership” in Pennsylvania has a history of being very weak in their resolve to defend our rights or pass rock-solid pro-gun bills.

That’s why it is urgent that you send your email, calling on your Representative and Senator to do everything in their power to pass Constitutional Carry through committee and onto the floor for a full vote — with no further delays.

TAKE ACTION NOW!

Gun owners in Missouri have been successful at passing major Second Amendment bills into law because they are NOT AFRAID to call out Republicans who stand in their path.

In Wyoming last year, gun owners removed over a half-dozen POWERFUL back-stabbing Republicans from office during their August primaries –- the very Republicans who were blocking critical pro-gun legislation.

And right here in Pennsylvania, gun owners threw Republican Senator Thomas Killion out of office last fall after he led the charge for Bloomberg’s ‘Red Flag Gun Confiscation’ all last year.

As gun owners in Pennsylvania, we have a decision to make.

Are we going to sit back and give these lawmakers a pass because they are Republicans? Or are we going to demand that they keep their campaign promises and pass Constitutional Carry like nineteen other state legislatures have done?

To me, the choice is clear.

We need to keep the pressure on in Harrisburg and remind them that they work for us and that, like any employer, we expect them to do their job — or gun owners find someone who will.

If you agree, please send your pre-written email to your State Representative and Senator now!

But when you sent your email, I hope you’ll include a generous contribution in the amount of $100 to help the Pennsylvania Firearms Association fight no-holds-barred in Harrisburg!

The Pennsylvania Firearms Association is running statewide digital campaigns — all designed to muster support for this bill.

But every dollar you can give will help us crank up the heat even more, forcing legislative leaders to get serious about Constitutional Carry — so I hope you’ll be generous.

Of course, if $100 is just too much, please agree to $50 or at least $25, or whatever you can do.

Lawmakers here in Pennsylvania love to tell us how pro-gun they are when they are running for office; it’s time to make them prove it!

If you agree, please send your email to your politicians in support of Constitutional Carry IMMEDIATELY along with your most generous contribution of $100, $50 or at least $25 TODAY!

For Pennsylvania,

Chris Dorr
Executive Director
Pennsylvania Firearms Association

P.S. State Rep. Aaron Bernstine and Sen. Cris Dush have introduced Constitutional Carry legislation (HB659 & SB565) but we expect weak Republicans to team up with the Radical Left and do everything they can to stop it.
Please send your email immediately, demanding that the General Assembly pass Constitutional CarryAnd please include a donation of $100, $50 or at least $25 so the Pennsylvania Firearms Association can crank up the heat in Harrisburg!

Gun owners did our job at the ballot box last fall — it’s time the legislature does their job and fights for us!
